Pathology Department

The Department of Pathology is a well equipped modern facility providing comprehensive diagnostic services to all areas of the hospital. The laboratory provides a 24 hrs service. The laboratory performs Proficiency Testing with institutes like AIIMS New Delhi, CMC Vellore, BIORAD USA, TMH Mumbai with excellent results.

The Pathology services includes

1.Clinical Biochemistry (Blood sugar, HBA1C, lipid profile, kidney function test, liver function test, Micro albumin, amylase, lipase, cardiac markers, ADA, CSF and other body fluid chemistry, electrolytes(Na+, K+, Ca2+, Phosphate etc)
2. Hematology (CBC, Anemia work up, Platelet count, Bone marrow studies)
3. Microbiology (Culture and sensitivity of various body fluids, Bacterial and fungal culture and studies)
4. Surgical Pathology (small and large biopsy)
5. Cytopathology (FNAB and FNAC – including CT and USG guided technique & Gynaecological PAP smear and non gynaecological cytology)
6. ELISA & Serology (Infectious diseases by ELISA, hormone and vitamin assay, ferritin, d-dimer, ANA , dsDNA tumor markers etc)
7. Blood collection (Air conditioned phlebotomy area with well maintained waiting area)
8. Clinical pathology (Urine and body fluid analysis including semen analysis)
