Department Of Orthopaedics

We are a 40 bedded unit and are pioneers in the region in trauma, joint, spine and arthroscopic surgeries. We are a tertiary care Orthopaedics centre tackling complex polytrauma at one end and doing joint replacements and spine surgeries at the other. We provide 24 hour trauma care and emergency trauma surgery. With State Of The Art Operation Theater and equipment we perform complex trauma surgeries.

Modular Operation Theater with HEPA filter and laminar air flow provides a clean environment and keeps our infection rates of international standards.

Trauma Care

Through our casualty that is manned 24 x7 we provide around the clock emergency trauma care. Our operation theaters work 24x 7 to ensure that prompt surgical services are available at any time of the day or night. We perform all major trauma surgeries including spine and pelvic trauma. A well equipped physiotherapy center provide for rapid return to function after trauma.

Joint Replacements

The Dept. of Orthopaedics has been at the forefront of joint replacement for more than a decade now. We perform Knee, Hip, elbow and shoulder replacement surgeries. Complex joint replacement requiring deformity corrections are also done. These surgeries are performed in the very safe environment of modular theater with laminar air flow to ensure minimal infection rates.

Arthroscopy

We have modern equipment for minimally invasive arthroscopic surgeries of knee and shoulder. Along with diagnostic arthroscopy we also do ACL reconstruction, Rotator cuff repair, surgery for recurrent dislocation shoulder and other complex ligament reconstruction of joints.

Spine

Our team of surgeons do both Lumbar and cervical spine surgeries on a regular basis. The surgical facilities provided in our spine unit are Lumbar fenestration and discectomy, Lysthesis correction and fusion, Surgery for degenerative lumbar spine, Anterior cervical discectomy and fusion, Cervical laminectomy, Surgery for infections of the spine and Spine trauma and fractures. We also perform Vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty for osteoporotic fractures.
